They knew how much we loved Port Ormos theme, that they included it as the first song.

If there's one thing you can count on for Genshin: it's music will be top-notch. I love how each region shows off the musical styles of a real-world region!

Now THIS is true globalization and cultural exchange. Taking the best of a wide variety of cultures and merging it in what has to be one of the BEST pieces of modern art. Music is the Universal language, it transcends hatred and division, it brings people together and unite them in a single harmony of peace and love.

Doesnt really matter how much is Indian, or South, Western asian, arabic, etc. It is more than just that, it is the expression of what Chinese people understand of what was beyond their part of the silk road. Hoyoverse and Hoyomix take representation to a whole new level, making pure art and respecting the place of milennial cultures that historically have been interacting peacefully and violently through countless generations.

This is coming from a Latino that grew up in constant discord with my fellow Latinos, we are all one, stop the fighting and enjoy the art.

as middle eastern (Iran) I have the most fun in Sumeru! Most of the name of people and foods in Sumeru are Persian and I’m so happy that there is a game in the world that doesn’t see Iranian as terrorists 😭 Iranian culture are well represented in Sumeru and I’m so happy for that

As an south asian myself(indian) im very happy with the sumeru ost and happy that other people enjoy the traditional south asian and southwest asian music as much as I do. It warms my heart seeing people hearing new music from southern and southwestern asia and enjoying it.Every time I'm in sumeru it feels like I'm listening to bhajans, they nailed the traditional aspects of the music so well and I love it.

I am from india 🇮🇳. In ancient days people from all over the world used to came to india for learning at universities like takshashila, vikramashila and nalanda. The chinese used to call india as land of heaven. I think that is the reason why genshin named sumeru as the forest of jnana (wisdom) and vidya (education).

I am 23 years old, and I have been playing tabla since 18 years. I have rarely seen the beautiful musical instrument used in songs other than Indian and Middle-East. A year ago speculations were made where they said sumeru will be based on India/Middle-East. Not only they represented both of them so gracefully, in-game as well as music, adding tabla to the mix was so unexpected and mind-blowing for me. You don't understand the butterflies in the stomach when you see the instrument that you play and that too underrated (for west) being used in a famous game.

Take a Bow Mihoyo. 🙇‍♂️

In Sanskrit(Indian language) - Jnana means "knowledge" and Vidya means "correct knowledge/wisdom" making it, the forest of knowledge and correct knowledge/wisdom.
