I have always made content throughout my professional career, however, it has always been for someone else. In May 2020 I decided that it was time to create something for myself. Football Manager has always been a game that I have loved so wanted to take this opportunity to share some of the tips and tricks that I've learnt!

People asking ‘why would you do this?’ I’ve recently done it in the first season as due to the World Cup the schedule is very hectic. If I’m winning by 3+ goals with only <10 minutes left I’ll take off my players that are really tired so they can recover better for the game I have in 2 days + it prevents potential injuries

Did this in an FA Cup final. My captain was very tired, but I needed to make sure he didn't get injured ahead of the Champions League final the following week, so with the game won at 3-0, I took him off and I finished the game with 10 men. Still won 3-0.

However, I believe if this were to happen in real life, there would be a lot of complaints about lack of respect for the opposition and all that.

Yes, but did you know that in extra time, when you receive an additional substitution, you can add a new player to the field by drag and drop without substituting another player (and playing man down) if you have taken off another player earlier due to an injury or tiredness.

You can take off tired players in Fm21.
