I've been playing some of the challenges on #FM23console.... and this happened

the fact that we're not in total control of the ai in the game makes me wonder that sometimes the ai just plays us and not us play the game

I hate it when I'm in the thick of a title race and I play against relegation candidates and their GK WITH THE WORST CLEAN SHEETS IN THE LEAGUE suddenly morphs into prime Casillas and the game ends in a draw.

OK so here's the skinny. The match engine is just a 3D representation of the numbers being crunched behind the scenes. If you had simulated this game instead of playing it, they still would have made a late break and scored due to a GK error. It just so happens that the FM match engine is notoriously goofy and shows you weird shit like this instead of what probably should have been "striker takes ball round GK who decided to come out way too far." It's the same reason you see players sliding across the pitch. Frustrating as hell, but it'll happen for you just as much as it happens against you.

Save before every game, and if something this stupid and unrealistic happens, just reload and play that match again 😊

I’d reset over that, and I hate doing that with a passion, but I’d rage so hard.
I even broke my big toe once kicking out in frustration when I lost a cup final in the last minute.😂

Anytime something really wonky happens to me like that and it costs me the game, I just replay the game. I don't mind losing, but I'm not going to let a rare glitch cost me the game.

On fifa/EAFC if your playing as the GK or you switch the GK you run into the box and claim that ball or alternatively kick it as long as possible away

I know its not how it should be played but you know what most people do when they loose games they don't want to? They close the game and turn it back on until they get the victory... I know right?

You can only win with rich teams
You can't win with underdog teams whatever tactics u use
Only option is in game editor
Hell game, waste of money and time
