10:00 Persuade to Leave > *Player disagrees* > "Can we negotiate a little?" > Then give them a price to agree always works for me.

Also - when entering contract negotiations, always add a 'Optional contract extension'

It's useful when you're a lower league club & can just trigger that when moving up the leagues

Hey mate. Great tips, really handy! Would be great if time stamps or chapters were added to the video as I intend to come back to this video to remind me when I’m next playing FM 23. Love your work - it’s great content. Currently watching your Leicester City save on your personal channel and learning lots! 👍😊

Video idea 💡
Would love to see a comparison between manual scouting and having the best possible chief of scout doing it.
Curious if doing it manually actually pays off 🤨

I would just remove clauses in most negotiations. Going straight to remove & exclude is a good way to break down negotiations very quickly.

for the yearly wage rise in particular: Ive found that lowering the yearly raise is likely better to try and put it to 5%. Every time i remove it entirely they always come back with a WAY higher wage....5% of a 50k contract is 2.5k for the first year wage rase, slightly more from then on. I found that having that yearly increase even at 5% adds alot of "negotiating points" for lack of a better term and prevents the example player from bumping their salary demand up to like 75K a year which is hard to come down from. So overall leaving that in but locking it at 5% im pretty sure gives me the least amount of money spent over the duration. I will have to pay closer attention to that though cuz im just explaining my theory and the way i do things and justify it haha thanks for the vid mate. I think I try to lock in salary as well when i do that but should definitely be careful of making them immediately walk away.

My favourite tip is when in contract negotiations and you have a team that is not gonna win the champions keague, you can add bonus for wining the champions league and putting it on max, then, you can lower the wage by pretty a lot.

"Blast the ball into the back of the net" is very useful for strong players. Kessie was giving me 15/20 goals a season in FM22 with that trait and 'goes forward whenever possible.'

Welcome back! Must admit I was away from YT & missed all the kerfuffle, but still pleased to see you continuing

If you offer the max range of the salary they ask for you can remove most if not all of the bonus clauses and save on expenses, 1 player here and there insists on a certain bonus clause but making the match those clauses end up costing you more in the long run than offering a slightly higher wage from the get go.

About the risks of offering a player out, it's a good idea to chat with them before offering, because, from what I observed, they will always accept discussing a transfer value. Keep in mind they'll never accept a contract offer until the promise runs out, though...

I just think FM 22 is kinda easy so they decided to make FM23 deliberately harder. So sick of crushing opponents on xG but end up losing so many times.

I remember I started benching Dalot and Lindelof to the point that both became non-selections for their countries, even Sancho (tier 3 in dynamics) got super annoyed, to the point that I have to edit it out.

Mistakes that you have to avoid not just in FM23. Since FM17 Player Traits got properly connected with the Match Engine, Dynamics has been introduced in, It's very useful for FM19, FM20, FM21 and FM22, as well 🙂👏👏👌

One tip about dynamics - if your best player wants to leave, but has a lot of time left on the contract, and comes to complain to you -> DON'T LET HIM LEAVE. Why? Because nobody in the club, not even his teammates, want the best player to leave, and in that case, you get better dynamics by refusing rather than allowing him to leave. I've done that with Šutalo in Dinamo, the man's in contract jail his entire life. Oh, and avoid release clauses, if you can.
