I never realised that’s how the possession mechanic worked. I’ve been watching full matches while I refine a created tactic and even though I have nearly all of the ball in terms of time, the possession didn’t feel like it reflected it. Now I know why 😂👍🏻

I have played 490 hours of FM23, FM22 played around 1821 hours. I have played the game when Collins and orosko were the best players on the game ( maybe bad spelling ) and when they brought out a champ that was just seria A. I’ve played this game so long I still call it champ. I’ve played this game so long I had to type in a score line from the instruction manual to load the game up I’ve played this game so long it took 20 minutes between two season to do a bit of loading, so long that I used to buy players over 30 then leave them out of the team at the end of the season but insure them for 10 million and then I’d have an extra 10 mill the following season. But I didn’t know most of this. 👏👏👏

Removing the opening screens is the best tip. I just timed myself going from desktop to loaded into my save after removing them. 11 seconds!

1) The tip about removing the loading screens also works on the Xbox Game Pass version... but only partially, as the main screen won't load up until you choose your profile.
2) Be careful when looking at opposition analysis, at least in the Xbox Game Pass version. The game easily hangs up when watching the comparison graphs.
3) This one is really important, because I thought you couldn't Take Off a knocked player unless the Assistant suggested it.

the best tip i've seen recently its about the match schedule and how to force it to play Saturday and Wednesday (option match scheduling options)

Couple of more comments... If you're a nervous Nelly and don't want to delete the movies folder, just rename it. Add ".old" to the end of it, and you'll have a quick escape route if you didn't like the change.

Also on the "swap position" "hack". This is probably best for reserves, so when you put them on, they'll swap to their best position. If you put it on one of your starting players, they'll seemingly swap position permanently for the whole game. This doesn't seem to be a setting for telling your wingers to mix things up during the game...

Lots of new stuff. Knew the individual instructions stuff, aside from the 'swap positions' part. Also knew about possession, but only because I assumed it had always been calculated that way.

Did not no that you could switch players positions that would be insane if say you had two IW wingers who are both good on either foot have them switching either flank lovely tip that cheers

Loading screen doesn't work for me. Screen just goes black when I launch FM (on steam) and won't go past that screen unfortunately

Great tips. How do you get the recent match analysis at the bottom of the tactics screen? I see that loads but can’t get it on mine.
