I follow this channel about an american couple that have moved to Denmark, and they have just uploaded a video on their trip back to the US (philly) after 4 years in Denmark, and what "reverse culture shock" that was.
Some on the things they mentioned was the how loud Americans are, specially when going out for dinner. Also how big the potions are. And the small talk in Supermarkets with strangers.

The UK is the Country in Europe with the most obese people, I do believe Germany is number two. I can't give you any numbers on how many it is, without having to look it up.

I love America, I don't eat big portions but I loved they packed the remainder of the meal in a doggy bag and I had it the next day

While some think that the richest and most developed countries in the world are the most obese, this isn't always the case. The United States and the United Kingdom are two of the most economically rich and developed countries globally. However, they are only ranked 12th and 36th, respectively, when compared to other nations.

People all over the world have stereotyped opinions of other nationalities most of these tend to be inaccurate. One stereotype that I believe is correct though is that Americans are more optimistic than most British people, this is generally a positive but like most things has a downside too. I don't know if Americans are fatter on average than Europeans but the one's that are overweight are massively so especially Black women, some of them are enormous and many are relatively young. Ps Your portion sizes are enormous so that has to be the main reason.

The "awesome" comment was sarcastic in that Americans tend to use that adjective a lot. She didn't get that humour.

Love Americans but such a polarised country at the moment, hope it changes, but we are becoming so similar in the UK with our useless govt!
