funny you bring up inbreeding as a stereotype in the US, because thats literally what many people in the US think about britain since they have all that noble history of keeping the bloodlines pure. hapsburgs and all that.

Common stereotypes for NJ is that we are all apart of the mob like the guy said in the video and we all talk like the people on the Jersey Shore.😂

“Water beer”: Beer that’s tasteless and usually low alcohol percentage. Also known as “Piss water.” I’m from Colorado, which is famous for it’s piss water: “Coors”

You betcha in WI too and Dat instead of that. A bar on every corner. When I moved from Wi as a new mother, I was shocked at alcohol restrictions in other states. Now, I've lived in at least 7 different states, and my three kids were born in three different states, and I love that every place is great. My kids live in three different states than we do.. it's a lot of traveling to see family, but I'm glad my kids knew they could be happy anywhere.

Illinois is almost two different states. Up north is Chicago, down south rural. Deer sausage, definitely the southern part! Yum!!

Cousins were usually distant..and it was for the same reasons the British royalty did it...keep land and money in the family.

Love your comments.

I have to say as someone who grew up in a small town in Tennessee there were cases of people dating cousins. It was hard to avoid that is small rural towns where there eren't a lot of people. In most of America states specifically make it illegal to legally marry anyone closer than a first cousin, but you can usually marry a first cousin once removed or a second cousin. My grandfather and his brother (in teh early 1900s) married twin sisters whose kids became DOUBLE FIRST COUSINS and by virtue of shared identical DNA of teh mothers half sibblings. So yeah, it's a bit of stereotype but it's also somewhat true.

Just FYI, I believe this video predates the strongest wave of Only in Ohio memes. There would have been a lot more of what you'd expect if it had been filmed more recently

water beer is a term for low alcohol content in the states each state regulates what percentage of alcohol beer is allowed to have per serving. The strict states are really low compared to the states that make money from sales and party orientated

Gaynor Deliverance was Georgia/South Carolina, not West Virginia.

I live in Kansas. Never heard of "water beer". Its probably referring to 3.2% Alcoholic Beer vs 5% which is around the normal amount.
