I like this AR I just haven’t seen reason to invest in it after maxing out thunder cage. I’ve rolled in 4 cages and gotten ark, crit and Weakpoint on it and it just does everything I need for mobbing

It’s a solid AR. The gun has probably the highest base damage per round for an automatic and boasts a nice 20% crit rate. Cons imo is its high recoil and low mag size with a base reload of 1.9s. Though while recoil is high it only really goes up and if you can manage that the gun is quite accurate with practice. Recommended build from my experience should revolve around crit chance and crit damage as it does have the highest crit chance of its class. So as I said it’s a solid AR if not the best AR but with all things considered it’s not the best for everything but it does do a good job as high dps all rounder if you want a rifle.

I main gley and i hate using this weapon because of the recoil.

I cant hold left click with the infinite ammo skill without having to readjust my mouse back to the middle of the mouse pad because it kicks so much that i run out of mouse pad space lol. This is running it without recoil mods btw.

Used this for about 100 hours now. For those complaining about recoil, stop aiming. This weapon EATS everything from the hip. I used the Tamer for Colossi and This for EVERYTHING else. 6 Catalyst's is nuts though ive made do with 1

I dunno man. Just about any gun you throw SIX cats on is gonna hit like a truck... At low investment, this gun just lacks when compared to thundercage or tamer and at high investment it looks like it's only just starting to catch up to a mid-level tc or tamer. Maybe if it was dead-on accurate or something it'd be worth the tradeoff for ease of use at range, but it kicks worse than most handcannons.

I tried to like this gun, but even with recoil reduction half the bullets miss for me because it jumps up so much. Caligo's Horn is my current prefered Assault Rifle, but I'm looking at possible upgrades from it.

@GuidingLight. Is there any build you could possibly think of that could make. The Caligo's Horn into a powerhouse of an assault rifle? As I'm trying to make the best of it but I'm not sure what to do to make it powerful. And if so could we see a possible future tutorial on how to make the Caligo's Horn powerful?.

Thunder cage trumps this weapon hands down i am at 660k dps on thunder cage and melt stack that with bunny and it’s actually way above 1M with bunny electric stacking. 👍

Not a chance that people are actually hitting the listed dps numbers for this gun. No way people are hitting proper spots with how high the recoil is with this gun.
