Hey gang! Hope you enjoy this NON-STORY/CHARACTER VIDEO??? HWAT is this ghast content??? Like I mentioned, this video took a hefty amount of research and consultation from my fellow FE peers, so I hope this is at least a decently accurate video discussion the best weapons in each game. I know people can get touchy about topics like this so just remember that it's all in good fun. I also realize that I misspoke a few times but hey no video of mine ever goes off without a hitch.
In any case. PLEASE LIKE THIS VIDEO AND COMMENT DOWN BELOW! The last video really did well for *le algorithm* because of so much engagement on your part. It really was awesome and felt great. Thank you! And as usual, if you haven't subscribed yet, but you're watching this, please click subscribe!

Bows in almost every FE game: "this weapon sucks because I can't counter at 1 space"

Bows in Gaiden (+ remake) and 3H: "Look at me, killing people from the other side of the map"

As an Apotheosis/Maddening/Lunatic player you need to learn brave weapons are going to be your new waifu whether you like it or not.

"Best fe16 weapon is Iron Bow+" I felt that. Having played a fresh save Maddening Blue Lions run, Ashe and Felix put in a lot of work in the bow department. Honestly, Training Gauntlets stood on equal footing for me, as it was the one weapon I could have a unit carry that allowed them to attack and not get bogged down by weight. I did some really risky plays is chapter 3 which required Byleth to tank a Lot of dudes with just the Training Gauntlets + Leather Shield. I'll never forget what it did for me.

Glad you decided to to focus on the most useful weapons over the strongest

Regarding the topic at hand, I'll say 3H's Rapier is easily the best sword in the game for similar reasons why in FE1 it's far better than the Armorslayer. Plus, it gets 45 durability and 20 crit after being forged, which is crazy good and useful.

Nice video, Ghast. There is misinformation on the FE4 section though. When a weapon gets 50 KOs, it gains the critical skill, allowing the unit using it to crit at all (skill%). The weapon gains 1% crit for every kill AFTER 50 and doesn't get to 50% (+skill%) crit until the weapon has 100 kills.

Love this because it isn't just "Oh this S rank weapon is best". Takes practicality into play

Yeah in TH bows are just in-general CRACKED as all get-out. I'm doing an all-bow run of the game, and so far everyone has just melted through everything.

And for Magic units, just give them magic bow and they go IN

I don’t think this is the best weapon in Three Houses, but it’s my absolute favorite. The Rapier is found around chapter 8 in Manuela and Hanneman’s paralogue, so it can be easily missed. However it makes up for it by having armour and cavalry effectiveness at E rank as well as being easily forgeable and repairable, it also has 40 uses (45 if it’s forged). It is also immensely superior to the Armourslayer and the Horseslayer with its lower weight and higher accuracy. I just slap it on my favorite units and they become killing machines.

For me Sigurd’a Silver sword is in my opinion the best non-Legendary weapon in Fe 4. If only for how early you get get and is realistically the first weapon you will get 50 kills with(something that is a lot harder than it seems).

The Light Brand is a pretty strong contender in FE5. A Magic Sword with really high Attack Power that also serves as a built in Elixir in a Pinch.
It's pretty much essential to Leif's survival.

I think Sigurd's silver sword that he got from Arvis deserves an honorable mention, don't even have to try to get 50 kills as Sigurd stomps everything, carries over to Seliph so he can stomp gen 2 even harder

“No reason to never not have in the inventory, ever.”
Just an all-time great sentence right there.

Tbh all iron weapons + are really good in 3 Houses

I also feel like Sigfried is better than Raijinto because playing through Conquest Hard mode, I always felt like "how would I do this without Sigfried and Xander". In Birthright Lunatic, you don't even need Ryoma to melt enemies.

At first I thought that for FE7 you would list Luna, but after thinking about it I have to agree with the Hand Axe. While Dorcas and Bartre are not all that good, they can still do fairly well against the weak ranged characters early on, and the later paladins and heroes (and Hector, of course) can still use them freely even going into the endgame.

For Awakening, I'd like to make a case for Celica's Gale. Yes, it's one of the randomly-obtained weapons from glowing spots or barracks events, so it's not reliably available... but it IS a tome with double the attacks, which pairs very nicely with the many offensive Skills in the game, and it's not even limited to Dark Mages and Sorcerers. Combine that with Vantage and/or Wrath, and you can frequently just delete units on Enemy Phase before they get to attack you. (Waste is similar, but less accurate and doesn't show up in shops until lategame.)

EDIT: so what you're saying is that Curved Shot is the best equipment in FE16

Now that Engage is out I felt the want to add this, the best weapon in FE17 is absolutely the Levin Sword. 1-2 range, good mt, good availability, as you can forge a Steel Sword into a Levin Sword rather early on, and you get a free one in chapter 12, and extremely cheap forging costs that makes a Levin +3 practically free. Pair this with the presence of Sword Power from Roy, and the weapon's availability on Mage Knight and Griffin Knight, and you get a 1-2 range killing machine with lots of hit, that completely bypasses the high defence stat of most enemies throughout the game's duration.

Great Video! I like that you clearly put a lot of thought into each choice, in both availability and usefulness against common enemies in each game
