I always feel like ADHD creators sharing their experiences is a lot more enlightening then doctors talking about it. Not only have doctors dehumanized us, infantalized us, and completely ignored us with adult adhd only ever focusing on kids, you have also made it all about the parents and are incredibly disrespectful towards the actual person with it. At least in my experience. I‘m not ashamed of my neurodiversion anymore cause i know that it won‘t make me lesser, but many kids today are still treated as lesser because of how discriminatory the medical field is regarding ppl with ADHD. Any other mental health issue is treated with meds to help the person suffer less. We ADHD ppl have to suffer more with meth like substances sometimes taking even addiction into account as literal children to make others happy. Being punched into a corner to „act normal“ is not helping. It is destroying us, our sense of self worth, and our mental health. Yet that‘s fine cause we‘re just a disease to solve. Not people. Like honestly, yall never talk about us in supportive ways. All the advice i got from are from other ppl with adhd figuring out tricks or my therapist who‘s been originally helping me for other problems. This is why i don‘t like yall „professionals“ cause you act elitist, ablist and pretty much don‘t seem to care really. Like, weird isn‘t it that we, the „degenerates“ the na*is originally wanted to erase somehow are still treated like dumb helpless fools who just burden the rest of society? I dunno man. Guess the autistic community is right. At least they said „f u!“ to their opressors who keep treating them like subhumans for being neurodivergent. We are not sick. Our world is because it favors the able bodied and doesn‘t respect the ones who don‘t fit into that narrow „normal“ category. And most of the side illnesses we get like depression, anxiety and su*cidality is not cause of adhd. It‘s cause we‘re treated like trash because of our neurological diversion. We‘re punched into a hole that doesn‘t fit us. And if we don‘t conform we‘re drugged with meth like sh*t as kids. This is why we are sick of doctors. Cause yall don‘t care about us. Yall only care about those who have to deal with us and our diverse brains not fitting into the restrictive society we live in.

This video has great content. I do appreciate being able to relate to others on tiktok.
As an adult with ADHD, I think videos like these need to be sped up. 18mins was too long for me to focus on so I bounced around the video. For being presented faster and using visual examples would help.
I like what you're doing though and hope you continue to help educate the public.
