Got 100 subs just about a week ago after 9 months now I'm already on 114. For the first 4 or 5 months I was getting barely any views and my videos were terrible but eventually you will find a niche and your content will improve. My main tips are find a niche where there are very little other people making content on (i make content where there is only a total audience of something between 10 to 100 thousand people and only one other youtuber doing the same thing (they are on about 1k subs). Don't worry if your nieche only has a small amount of people as once you get more of a following who enjoy you and not just what you are making then you can branch elsewhere. Also always look at your analytics particularly audience retention and see what causes people to click off and don't say or do the same thing in later videos

Thanks for analysing my channel...I do actually use VidIQ to help me with tagging on some of my vids 😉 but I also have the benefit of a second channel with many more subscribers which I grew to over 30 million views in my first year!

My journey on YouTube began quite rough as all new channels are. After being monetized and achieving growth that I never saw coming, my biggest advice to anyone starting out is don't be afraid to make mistakes. Your entire channel thrives on making mistakes and learning from it. You NEED to make mistakes to grow so go out there, look fear in the eyes, and upload that first video. I guarantee you, you'll amazing after it's uploaded as that's when your journey REALLY begins. Goodluck everyone!
