I have a 7A myself. None of the differences mentioned here would entice me to choose one over the other. So, I choose to save whatever money I can with a 7A. About a month into ownership. No regrets.

Google not been listening though, just doing what every other phone manufacturer does, make fat phones that are not practical. I love my Pixel 5, its tiny, light and has great battery, and doesn't bulge in my shorts or weigh them down at only 144g. I contemplated upgrading, but I don't want, and never will want, a phone that weighs more than 150g, let alone over 190g. All 3 Pixel 7s are obese chunkers. Its getting harder to find small, light phones, instead we are being fed small light laptops that make phone calls.

Love my pixel 7A returned the Google pixel 7 I like the plastic back - phone also feels a touch lighter .

I notice that you compare the still photos with the pixel 7 on the left but you compare the video with the pixel 7 on the right. Are they labelled correctly or is this a mistake? For me the still photos on the right (labelled pixel 7a) look more detailed than th one on the left. This seems to contradict your opinion that the pixel 7 is better?

Thanks for reinforcing my decision to buy the 7. The " a" versions are meant to be a much smaller size version like in the earlier versions of the phones, so why this version is so similar is a question Google should be asking

5:26 probably if Google would allow it to charge faster, then smartphone will heat up to a dangerous temperature. I had a smartphone powered by MediaTek G90T, with 18W charger it warmed up to 40C, while using same charger with SD 730G powered smartphone it reached only 30C, chipset probably matters when it comes to charging.

I still cant blve at this price point pixel 7 and 7a supports just below 20W charging whereas devices like oneplus, oppo, Mi provided super fast chargers upto 70w

Don't use 5G as its POINTLESS, turn off WiFi and BT constant background scanning and the constant "identify this song" and you'll get 7H of SOT if not more easily. On my 7a I never get less than 6H with 0 compromises

The pixel 7 and 7a is the same price in my country. I went with the pixel 7.

You will then be able to buy the 7 for a more sensible price.
