Preparing to fire M3 Flame Thrower in WWII Stuart Tank 22 May 2016

The M3 Auxiliary Flame Thrower fits in the bow of the WWII Stuart and Sherman tanks and replaces the Browning Machine Gun. The WWII Weekend in Orange, MA is one of the very few places to see the live fire of tank flame throwers. In 2016 Dave Kerr was able to bring two tanks and two M3 for the WWII show. This was the first public show ever to have two German F41's, two USGI M2-2's and two tanks firing M3's. We hope to repeat next year with more demonstrations in actual combat conditions.
