I don’t know why people are criticising this as a bad thing when democratically-elected leaders in other countries have turned out to be incapable and damaging to their respective country.

I think westerners need to wake up and realize that each culture has different philosophies and beliefs about how to run their society. China has always been a country (historically) where power is symbolic and rulers waged countless wars to be in charge of the greatest dynasty. Of course this is a relatively outdated concept from a militaristic point of view as most power struggles of this nature are waged politically nowadays.

The "democracy" many western countries are experiencing right now is not even the original intention or design of democracy from a philopsical perspective, you can simply read platos or socrates to know this. Originally, democracy was supposed to be a system utilized by the wisest in society (proven in their fields) to come together and make wise decisions. Instead what you have now are elected populists that are in charge because of how they can be manipulated behind the scenes, while putting on a "likeable" face to the public. The west likes to believe its system is superior, but yet the UK's "democratic" system right now is failing and being displayed as an absoloute meme. The US elected a senile man with dementia. I'd love to hear explanations about how this "version" of democracy is working so well.

I'm not proposing a system that is superior or inferior, however I am simply making an observation that systems seem to work best when applied to the people that choose them freely. Having someone in charge for a prolonged period of time is not a bad thing if that person is capable. If that person is not capable they should be removed.

They should have announced "who wants to die raise your hand"

By analogy, this unity is similar to the unified support for GOP or Democratic presidential candidate. The government policy can wreak havoc on the interests of individual groups, for China the out of school academic program providers, for US the desperate Chip sector investors suffered huge loss due to Chip blocks to China. Politics is a two edged weapon. It is the tool to balance power and interests to make a society sustainable down the road.

The part where Hu Jintao was bundled out by security very cleanly edited out. I wonder why? 🤔

The vote that was held it’s a visual clue as to the fear that everyone has for trying to speak out against what they know is wrong for fear of being “disappeared”

I wonder why any Chinese news talk about how Hu Jintao was dragged out from the room before the voting session. They also prevented him from picking up his papers 🤔

In China, there are many things that must be agreed with the government, but in Western Europe and parts of Asia, democracy is always a lot of opposition to democracy. I'm going to protest 😂😂😂
