Excellent Lens! I assisted my good friend in building his podcast studio and since he went with sony aps-c I had him pick up a couple 18-50s and one 10-18. I'm looking forward to the release on these for canon because after I had the opportunity to set his studio up I was pretty impressed on how they looked on the Sony's.

hey, would you suggest i switch from my sigma 18-35mm f1.8 to this lens? more specifically for video using a canon r10
my RS3 gimbal cant manage my current setup its too heavy

Thank you for clarifying that it doesn't have the vignette that typically appears on full-frame cameras, because that is HUGE. Although it won't bother me since I have the R6ii, but knowledge is power, right? Dude, your White Cedar preset is MAGICAL. I mean, it brought your test images to life instantly!

I have an R10 and currently just have an RF 100-400mm. Looking for a good lens for general use and closer shots. I keep hearing about the issue of no IS in this lens, and with the R10 not having IBIS, how much of a limitation is this? The shots I am seeing do not seem to make that much of a difference unless you plan on shooting in low light situations, which is not my plan. I also do not plan on using this for video. Should I be waiting for a lens with IS, or is this a good choice for amateur photography?

5:16 there is a limitation, the MP will be decrease and on video only 4k 24fps and 720p 60fps

Just ordered it to use with my R7. Should replace my 24, 35, and my 50. Cant wait to not have to swap lenses every 5 minutes.
