Should you brush out your naturally wavy hair?

FINALLY someone combing their waves out! Rules for hair care or hairstyling don't have to be so rigid.. one should tweak things a little bit according their own preferences and needs! I have 2b-2c wavy hair but it is low-medium density hence defining/clumping waves make them look even more scanty, I've always loved how my hair looked after combing with a wide tooth comb, it works for me because my hair thickness falls between medium to coarse,
and since yours appear fine - medium with low-ish density, a fine tooth comb really helps give volume, bounce and shine.

I have thick, naturally curly hair, and brushing it out makes me look like a mushroom 😂
What I do is use leave-in conditioner and comb through my hair with my fingers, hair sealer serum, curling cream and letting that set a little, then a oil and very lightly brushing through with fingers again. Gives me the same results you get!
Took me a long time to find the right routine for me, but it's worth all the time, effort and money to do so.

Yeah as someone who also has fine and thin hair brushing is necessary. Sometimes I leave a couple strands unbrushed around the face

omg finally someone with the exact same hair texture as me!! girl we literally have the same hair except yours is black and mine brown. i recently started brushing/combing it and it looks SO MUCH BETTER. like literally curling iron curls/waves. so cool

Proof everyone has different types of hair and there is variation within those categories. Normally wavy and curly hair you wouldn’t brush it out, but she has fine hair which I think looks better when brushed out. My hair is 2c-3a and I have thin hair, but I have A LOT of hair because of my Okinawa blood. This is why one method of styling doesn’t work for everyone

I almost decided to chemically straighten my hair today bc I wanted to give up on my natural curly af poofy hair. I just can’t figure out how to care for it, but seeing videos like urs give me hope. My hair has been one of my biggest insecurities all my life
