I keep my nibs on a self-adhesive magnet bar I glued to the wall.

Great video, thanks for showing the line size from the various nibs! I think that if you dip your nib a little bit further, just to cover the eye then the ink will flow longer and you can dip less often. That little hole in the nib acts like a reservoir for the ink. At least that's the way it works with calligraphy nibs.

My main issue is pressure (especially when drawing curvy lines)

Also if you put it in a smaller container or put a wet napkin over the top or parchment paper or cling wrap anything that makes it airtight helps it to stay functioning

@4:53 you can rehydrate your inks you know. I didn't know if you knew or not it's all new to me and my grandfather died and I got his old set and a lot of the inks were dried up and the cartridges for a fountain pen I just happened to look it up and you can rehydrate them all and I saw that you can buy stuff to make your own which is essentially what's left when they dry up as I understand it. Anyway it works for me

Hi, im just starting with dip pen nubs. Why they can not draw?no ink is coming down? I just buy the deleter set today. I dip the pen nib, but when i try to draw, the ink doesnt go down. Any reason why?

I quite like to add a little bit of brown to black, it gives it s slight brown and makes it pretty, I use a separate jar for mixing this because I don't want to use an entire black ink jar for that

Thank you for this video and I apologize if you said it during filming, but I must have missed it. I use inks with watercolors, wouldn't adding water to the ink somehow compromise its 'waterproof-ness' in some capacity?
