You're such an inspiration Mary. May God continue to bless you and your family. You have a fan all the way in Trinidad and Tobago 🇹🇹.

This Kansas, nearly retired, couple enjoy juicing our homegrown apples, cherries, grapes, and tomatoes...going on 31 years now! It's work...a bit steamy...but, the results are tasty. Two large stock pots, lids, strainers, and big mixing bowls...all of stainless steel is what we've always used. 🍅🍇🍒🍎

Several years ago, I received a steamer like that for Christmas and never felt comfortable using it. So this video was really beneficial for me. Now, if I can just find some grapes!

We had a grape arbor for our Concord grapes. My mom made grape juice, grape jelly and grape butter every year. My Dad even made grape wine. Mom would have loved a juicer like yours. We cooked the grapes and put it through a cone shaped food mill (manual with a wooden paddle) to remove the seeds and the outside peel ( a lot of work). Good memories!!!

Wow Mary, I used to make grape juice years ago when my children were young. My son could drink a quart at one time and he loved it. My son is close to 60 now, so it has been a few years ago. I always used Concord grape. I just bought a bunch of grapes just the other day that would have made great juice. They were not concord but they tasted and looked like concord. They were called seedless Thomcord grapes from Ca. Your method of making juice looks better than mine. Watching your channel brings back so many memories. Thank you so much. Ann from Va.

I used to have one of those steamers when I had a jelly and pie shop, my mother in law ended up with it after I got divorced.
They are pretty efficient and easy to use !!!
Sharing equipment is the practical and affordable way too own pricy items but not many people will do that anymore 😏
I wouldn’t let those grapes go to waste either 😍

Water bath is fine for fruits and juices. No reason to do a pressure canner here.
Thank you for sharing your process, Mary! It brings back memories of helping my mom canning grape juice!

We always picked grapes from my grandfather's vines. My Mom always made grape juice and jelly. Nothing like homemade!

You brought some memories for me. My great grandmother born in the 1890s made grape jelly but I could not stand the smell and still remember it to this day!

I have a juicer similar to the one you have, and just ordered 5 gallons of plums to make some jelly. That juice color is beautiful.

What an interesting video Mary. You are so fortunate that your in-laws have grapes on their property.
