No lemons or blender lids were harmed in the making of this video.

As a mexican I can confirm I call limes lemons as well because we call them both lemons is Spanish. We just refer to them as the green lemon and yellow lemon. 🤭

It is jam, you changed and said " you need to make this grape jelly at home". You had it right before it's jam not jelly. You'd also be better off adding a lid on your blender. Different blenders have different power and you could have a HUGE MESS by not adding a lid. If you want a great change from grape, cinnamon apple jelly is easy and delicious. Smuckers in the 1970s had this jelly in restaurants but now many dont know how great it is. "Candy Apple Jelly": add 1 quart apple cider, 1 cup of red hots cinnamon candy, 5 cups sugar, 1 pkg pectin, boil everything but sugar, to full rolling boil then add sugar return to rolling boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat, pour into hot pint jars, put lids on, place upside down for 10 minutes, then right side up to cool. Lids will self seal when cooling and are now shelf stable. This tastes wonderful on raisin toast, English muffins and kids love it!

Limes are called lemons in different parts of the world

You should have put that blender mixture through a sieve. It would be smoother, and silkier to the palate, after removing the grape skins. Anyone copying your recipe, should taste the difference. Keeping the skins makes the mixture darker, and just gives the impression that there are more ingredients in the jam. You just cook it down enough to make it thicker. And you can use a food mill to remove skins and seeds in one shot. And 800 grams is 1 3/4 pounds by weight.

Beating grapes? Pitting grapes? Are ya sure you didn't mean cherries? 20 to 35 mins? A 15 min discrepancy?
🤔🤣

in my country, there are two kinds of lemon: the green and the yellow. The lime is different. it has thick peel and smaller and it has stronger smell.

That's a whole load of shredded grape skin floating around your home-made jam. The graphes are sweet so less sugar is needed. Hope this helps you because my belly is aching from laughing as you continue on your journey to learning from your amazing colleagues here. :)

Jam is jelly. Lemons are limes. Blenders don't need lids.
