D.O.C also said in an interview with J Mix (the 2Pac channel) that they were getting very close with Slim The Mobster at one point that could have been dope. Slim wrote like 1000 tracks.

With all the stuff going on around 05, artists coming and going and the stuff with Em etc it probably wasn’t coming together how he wanted, then by like 2011 when there was a glimmer of hope Dre probably felt like hip hop had moved on from the sound he’d invested time creating, a shame.
