This watch shows the pleasure to be had at value end of watch collecting. I'm more into interesting features and complications in watches rather than brand names so this easily gets a place in the collection. I have this exact one and the silver. This on the brown strap is understated and elegant, while the silver on a matching Milanese (mesh) strap is fabulous.

All in all a well considered review and the closest we are likely to get to a vc. I like the dial a lot, and whereas I normally op for higher end watches its a style we all can wear without wondering if someone is going assault use for the watch.

Great review 👍. I love the Baltany 1921, I chose the centre seconds Miyota 9039 with the white dial that is like crushed diamonds, it looks superb, is comfortable and surprisingly legible. I have a vintage cushion case Longines, but it is too small to wear, this 38mm Baltany is perfect.

Very nice mate. Baltany is coming out with some excellent value pieces of late, especially the military homages which are my favourites. Personally I’m under no illusions that I’ll find some “grail” out there and call it a day. I love them and want to try them all. I don’t care whose name is on it. Inevitably, after a few weeks it’s on to the next one 😂
