Fun fact on why modern Land Rovers still do this for the body on frame vehicles: when they were owned by Ford their vehicles got a streamlined process to take the body off, as Ford does this for their trucks in case technicians feel removing the cab is necessary to find more room. Tata just never changed the vehicles much after Ford
