people be like "slow af" - dude I'm weak... it's a 520i, that 0-100 was in the mid 7's, that's definitely not slow, it's quicker than a lot of normal cars and trucks on the market, and it's more than fast enough for a daily driver. It's just not a sports car.

Definitely not slow, but god that screaming 4 cylinder sound in a 5 series at this price … Shame. Engine sounds the same as a base model Peugeot from mid 90’s

Considering the size of the car, the engine is so humble, the range price of the car is not cheap, I would say very slow, shame on you BMW !!! I have no idea why manufacturers still insist to convince people to buy expensive cars with unreasonable engines

Everybody says „its faster than most cars this is not slow bla bla“ this car costs 58000€ without any equipment and the acceleration for such a car in that price class is just an impudence

Trotzdem ist es nicht empfehlenswert 175 kmh auf der Bundesstraße zufahren. Aber ich war nicht dabei, kenne weder Strecke, noch Fahrer..

For what it's worth it's alright but personally I wouldn't touch it. Too little of an engine for this big saloon.
