If the power of the explosion corresponds to the shifter’s energy, it would explain why Armin (who uses uncontrolled full power nukes) is a lot less muscular and has exposed ribs. As if all the energy that burning that muscle to steam ratio all at once results in an explosion that big. Hence why Bertolt, who uses small or partial nukes has more muscle mass and can hypothetically have more stamina.
