I was curious of this statement as I saw in video for Christian Prince some tieing Melchidrezik with Jesus… I am not denying what Sam is saying, he is more learned than me …still on my own journey to reaffirm my faith in Christ. But what blew me away was in Genesis 15 “the word of the lord” appears to Abram in a dream, and tells him of the future people of Israel. This is after meeting Melchizedek in Genesis 14. But for me it reaffirms the passage in John 8: 56 “ Your father abraham, rejoiced to see the time of my coming: he saw it and was glad”

It really is that easy brother. Melchizedek as explained in Genesis and Hebrews, there really isn’t any other explanation that makes sense other than Melchizedek being The Holy Spirit. It’s seriously refreshing seeing someone explain this in depth as I couldn’t understand why so many fellow believers have so much trouble with identifying who he is even while having so little information on him. I have for the longest time felt like that’s who Melchizedek is and this simply stamps the approval of understanding on it even more. Much love to you all.

brilliant exegesis Sam. One other very interesting aspect of Psalm 109/110. Is that Christ took the "Oath of Swearing" before Caiaphus which compelled him to speak truth if he knew the Truth. Then Christ quoted from this Psalm saying you will see me seated at the right hand of the Father, then Caiaphus said you blaspheme and he tore his priestly garment while Christ priestly garment remained intact. THAT WAS THE TRANSFER OF THE LEVITICAL PRIESTHOOD TO MELCHISADEK. Theres more I have to go to work.
