Bought a rat from my teacher for 20 bones; still the best deal.

SF300 is 25 bucks new, sometimes they even go on sale for $20. I say buy 2! Use one in mode 1 and one in Mode 2.

I can highly recommend the Carcosa fuzz by DOD!

I run a Behringer Vintage Tube Overdrive TO800 (TubeScreamer copy) first in my chain (Level 10, Drive 0, Tone 5). I stack it with the SF300 for leads. The TO800 really makes the SF300's octave come alive.

I love putting the Rat at low gain before the Green Russian Big Muff in the signal chain. The Rat gives the Green Russian some extra tightness and attack.

i can do just about everything with my RAT2 + SF300. great pair of pedals. i tend to use the filter on the RAT to get that 'thick' sound, then i use the SF300 only as a boost without the fuzz turned on - that way for clean sections i can just turn the RAT off and i have a warm clean tone

Behringer pedals kick ass. I have the fx600 which is delay, chorus and reverb and it's stereo. And the octave pedal. They aren't the absolute best but they're definitely the best bang for the buck.

According to Josh of JHS, the SF300 is the biggest selling pedal that Sweetwater carries, by a huge margin.

I would love to something like this for other type of pedals, or even pedal boards, amps or cabs

Enough credit for doing this video dude, as a boutique builder giving advice on budget pedals is gold, we'll done. I'd also stick in the Electro Harmonix Lpb-1 as a cheap Treble booster and the Behringer TO 800 overdrive both nail it for a few quid

Joyo ultimate drive is an excellent OCD clone. They make great pedals in the 20-30$ range

MXR DISTORTION + pedals can be found cheap. I got one for 60 USD & it ſounds great. Even later reiſſues are good. A claſſick dirt pedal. Run into Marſhall-ſtyle amps or amp ſims for beſt reſults. I uſe mine into a Tech 21 GT2 & Q-Strip.

I kinda went nuts and bought a Jam Rattler, which is based on the old Rat. It stung a bit, but man...its a great pedal.

I've got an sf300, a Massif and a behringer od300, going to stack both fuzz's and run the od through them with the distortion maxed out.

My basics are a SF300, Boss Flanger, Super Chorus, a RAT, AND an Acapulco Gold, (that I made from a kit). Other stuff, POG, Graphic Equalizer, Wah.

I'd recommend the behringer version of the hm2, I can't remember the name but it actually has a tone control (making it actually usable lol)

You can look at the Electro Harmonix as a good rat alternative, it's basée on the same circuit, true bypass, with EH quality and is cheap!

Even cheaper than the Eyemaster: the Behringer HM300 Heavy Metal for $25 on Sweetwater. It's also an HM-2 clone.
