I love the reverse on my DD5. It’s slightly different as the first repeat is normal and the rest after are reversed.

Definitely love Strymon Reverbs for anything alt, because infinite reverb is very countercultural and sounds amazing when even tapered down.

Two new pedals I like for anything alternative sounding are the Rainger FX Reverb X (cause gated distortion) and the Bleak District Electric Sun?No))). Especially with BDE's pedal, since it's the best way to access a gritty $5K amp that makes me question if I ever need another distortion pedal again.

i love my op amp Big Muff but have you ever tried the Walrus Jupiter V2 Fuzz pedal? just got one recently and it’s an excellent sounding very warm almost velvety fuzz but diverse also. It’s plenty dirty but a great pedal like most Walrus pedals i’ve tried.

Sadly all these pedals are kinda pricey and I've owned all of them at one point but can't afford to have $300 I don't use daily so the Boonar is the only one I still got since I mostly play rnb and it does simple, traditional echo sounds too.
I wanna buy another shallow water and cba blooper tho but imma be broke for a minute 😢
Love that DBA basically makes shoegaze centric pedals lol their space bender is great for shoegaze (not much else tho). I miss my reverberation machine tho. I'd just use it for bluesy rnb and soul with a harmonic trem and it sounded spooky and swampy with all these hisses and crackling. Kinda like if Burial covered Grover Washington Jr. Also the reverberation machine is the loudest pedal I've ever owned no lie lol

Also if you can ever find one the Marantz PMD223 can be converted to a tape echo if you know how to solder and you buy a few simple parts. Used to have one, had to sell it.

The plumes is rad. You running tubes or solid state? Im currently looking to trade in my Vox hybrid for a Roland JC22 as ive gotten into shoegaze and neee an effects loop. But im also considering a little 10watt Marshall just cuz its classic and ive never had a full tube amp before.
Can the Roland handle distortion? What do you think, Roland or Marshall?
