You know, the fact that I never feel you're trying to sell me YOUR pedals actually makes me consider buying one of YOUR pedals even more.

Let's take a moment to appreciate the high production quality of videos on this channel.

The quality of every video is gold, which isn't mentioned in the comments nearly often enough.

josh, if you ever read this, your channel is a Gem to the guitar community and pedal fanatics, thanks for sharing your love of pedals and knowledge with us. keep making awesome videos.

I love how Josh understands that his pedals are a niche market and that not everyone can afford them, and he doesn't mind promoting other pedals and gear. This is very wholesome. You can also see that he is a pedal enthusiast at heart and just enjoys playing and commenting on them. Keep up the good work.

P.S. Will buy a JHS pedal just to support you

Josh, you should seriously consider making a coffee table book about pedals. The real deal, the size of a briefcase! All the nerdy details. Like this video, the main pedals in each category and their clones...pictures, circuit diagrams, charts and lists...it could (and would) be glorious!
...on a side note, I'm still waiting for my Behringer pedal that has been backordered since you did your video on them...just sayin'...

Just got a Morning Glory and I can't recommend it enough for that sweet honey mustard tone that I always wanted but couldn't get from a tube screamer or a blues driver. It's an absolute must have for that low to medium gain tone. I've become an instant JHS fan!!!

when I used to go on Reverb and look at overdrive/distortion pedals it wasn't clear if I was looking at overdrive or distortion. this video makes all of it make sense so thats pretty cool, i ended up with 3 different pedals in this video all in different categories and I'm happy about that

There needs to be more people like Josh and Brian Wampler. Love that they aren’t just promoting their own pedals, but talk fondly and knowledgeably about others. Very refreshing. Other industries should learn from this - it’s nice to be nice!

Josh: i'm just human, just a normal guy
> a normal guy who owns serial no. Klon

I had the weirdest dream last night that I met Josh at the back of a McDonald’s and he let me choose a pedal for free. Man I watch this show too much lol

I learned a lot in this video and I love Josh's narrative style.

Thank you, Josh. That is probably the best explanation of the basics for different overdrives that I have ever heard. Impressive. 😎 The comparisons through the same rig, same chords = priceless for a guy like me. Thanks again.

It would be cool if there were a "family tree" diagram showing the different tribes of overdrives with all their descendants.

I love the fact that a Klon Centaur clone is called "The Conspiracy Theory".

Broooo I never knew there was such a proper way to categorize O/D pedals. I see people (reviewers) mixing categories in shoot outs, like "Centaur vs King of Tone vs TS808." This was super enlightening. Thank you.

I like that he doesn’t ever trash anything. Like my grandfather used to say, “don’t spew what you hate, speak what you love.”

Man that plexi-drive is amaaazing

I love how this show is becoming an organized, interactive reference book with an index pointing you to other "pages" of the book to take you deeper into a subject. Or maybe like in comics when they reference something that happened in a previous issue and there's the little asterisk pointing you to the bottom of the panel where it tells you exactly what issue. I really dig it, and I thank y'all for all the hard work.
