Mooer Blues Crab (Bluesbreaker clone) & Blues Mood (Keeley BD-2 phat mod clone) are probably the best Mooer drive pedals. I use both with the LT Dual and either a Bad Monkey (TS9) or Maxon TB09 for that midrange solo boost. With a good delay pedal and the Mooer E-Lady flanger and Ensemble King chorus, a cheap EHX Nano Big Muff (Green Russian ftw) and my little Laney Cub12R I'm mini-me David Gilmour....

Thank you for this and to Chris because I have just ordered the Blues Crab for exactly the reasons you have outlined although I ordered it for use with a LP not single coils.Unfortunately the humbucker demo here did not do this pedal justice. It is a clone of the Marshall Bluesbreaker pedal which was engineered to sound like Marshall's Model 1961/1962 combo amplifier ( later to become the Bluesbreaker amp) which came to fame from Eric Clapton's playing that amp with his LP on the John Mayal & The Bluesbreakers album to become known later as the " Beano " album.All I'm saying is that if you're going to demo that pedal with humbuckers at least provide a sample of the music for which it was made.

Jazzmaster's pickups are not P90s 😭
Why everyone keeps saying it? They're single coil, but the coil extend horizontally instead of vertically like normal single coil... that's why they haven't that p90 mid-bump and fatness: since the coil can catch vibrations from a bigger portion of the strings, they reproduce a wider spectrum of frequencies (making it sound a bit fatter, but also brighter, than standard pickups) while retaining basically the same winds of normal​ single coils

The T Rex one, that second channel is very cream! dont know why makes me remember the more switch in my vox Satchurator : ) but the Blackstar its very versatile to, i would choose both Blackstar for more Hi Gainer Stuff, and the T Rex maybe for more Blues Rock stuff. By the way, it is a great idea that you Thomman makes reviews of the products

The La Charger is much better than what he showed with the Humbuckers! It's more of a modded JCMish!

the Mooer Blues Crab(?!) sounds nothing like the BOSS Blues Driver they're trying NOT to say.... The BD-2 is one of my favorite pedals, so I was interested in the Blues Crab, but now that I hear it, not interested anymore.

Heya! Can someone please tell me for the Blackstar LT Dual, is the volume of the pedal at unity with the clean signal? Is there enough volume left to push the second channel for a solo boost lead thingy? Thank you, awesome video(s)! :)
