Details Are The Difference – Daniel Jones & NY Giants NFL Week 2 Game Tape Breakdown by Kurt Warner
Показать описание
The details are the difference between winning and losing football games. The New York Giants and Washington Football Team did not disappoint in their NFL week two prime time matchup...and it all came down to the last second. Let’s go to the tape and first take a look at Daniel Jones and the New York Giants.
When I go through tape, I am a guy that goes through a lot of different things. Of course, I am looking from a quarterback perspective. But I look at the details of the way of which they run their passing game. Because I believe the details change everything. The details are the difference between winning and losing football games. And that was a close football game last week. Either team could’ve won. Over the next couple of StudyBalls, I am going to show you a whole bunch of plays from both teams where the details just weren’t there. Where the details might have cost him. Schematic details within a play, or it might have been the details from the quarterback to understand what he is seeing and how to be successful with the particular defense and play that has been called.
That’s what it’s all about. Details, details, details. Some of the things there are schematic details. They don’t help their quarterback out. Help your young quarterback out by understanding how little things make a huge difference. Daniel Jones needs to understand the details of every play. Don’t get rushed. Understand when you have to settle and hitch. Maybe take a hit and deliver. Other times when you don’t hitch, get your back foot and let it go. Don’t rush your final throw. Understand what you are seeing, knowing where the throw needs to be made. You can quicken things up, but stay true to your technique because it’s always going to allow you to be successful after adjustments. I took ten pass plays and you can see how many hidden yards there are in there that they missed out on because of a number of different things. You tell me, one of those plays, two of those plays, that helped them win a football game and not be sitting at 0-2 right now. I am going to argue at least one of them would have done that. #DanielJones #NYGiants #NFLWeek2
