*My daughter drinks lots of water and urinates with the same rate, there are no other symptoms to show if those have anything to do with diabetes. This is a good information that I have gone through **Diabets.Care** She is 2 years 9 months, hale and healthy, have not done any blood test. But I am not certain if one can get diabetes at such a tender age. Please I will like to know more on that*

I have never been able to eat potatoes without having a spike until I dealt with insulin resistance recently. After 3 years whole food plant-based they still gave me blood sugar spikes. It didn't stop spiking my blood sugar until I started using amla and apple cider vinegar. Now I can eat them.

I don’t care what anyone has to say, if you eat a whole food plant based diet you don’t have to worry about eating potatoes, bananas, dates, pasta, etc. The low carb world is creating all this noise about carbs which makes no sense. Nature doesn’t make mistakes people do.

My experience with taking blood tests after eating rice and potatoes is,
potatoes raise blood sugar 'half' what rice does!
Also when eating these foods check out online how adding a spray of vinegar, supposedly lowers sugar in the blood also!
I remember in England they don't use sugar loaded ketchup, they use vinegar!

They can't refute the truth when thousands of people are getting major results all across the board. I have struggled for as soon as I added potatoes & removed the oils, I started losing weight. I will continue on the Starch Solution & the amazing thing is I no longer crave just don't even think about sweets anymore & that's a major game changer for me!

Did the study use brown or white rice? That makes such a difference and I don't understand why this has not been mentioned here.

The regular Yellow Yukon Gold Potatoes I can eat but NOT sweet potatoes!
I would usually have for dinner, a salad that contains a few type of greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, carrots and radishes, a small potato (size of my fist with only butter, no salt, the fish or meat already has), 2 eggs or a piece of fish or meat (size of my palm).
I'm type two diabetic and potatoes have never spiked my glucose; most days I would only have breakfast and dinner. Since I'm eating like this, my LDL Cholesterol has lowered and HDL has gone up; my doctor told me to keep doing exactly what am doing; I'm trying to get my A1c to be lower than 6.

I did keto years ago too lower my blood sugar I was border line diabetic it worked for about a year but if I cheated at all my blood sugars would sky rocket. And I got tired easily. A friend talked too me into trying a whole food plant based it took me 2 weeks. Also no added fats too reach my lowest blood sugar reading of around 80 reading on my blood sugar meter. I also lost another 30lbs. It just melted off. And I ate more food!

People have posted on what dr. Kahleova said about insulin spike being "good" contradicts everything every other expert I follow has said. My understanding, for weight loss anyway, is that high insulin is to be avoided because insulin can direct the cells to store fat. Am I misunderstanding this? I am happy about the potatoes if this is actually beneficial. :) And I'm glad I found your channel. Good video.
