Gotta say, I have been playing Fallout 3 differently as of late. Instead of rushing through it planning out everything that I'd do in the playthrough, I kind of just decided the cruise along around the world and really attempt to "smell the roses" so to speak. And now I really am starting to see just how wonderful this game is and why everyone loves it soo much. I dare say this game was made for me now.

Just got done with a 6 hour session for the first time in at least 10 years. Still holds up without any mods

Same here I was bored the first time I played this but a couple months later I went more depth and I ended up really loving it because the game gives you a feeling that no other game has, it doesn't hold your hand like most games do. You are completely in charge of surviving and doing whatever the hell you want!!

Played this new vegas and 4, maybe it's because this was my first open world rpg but there is just something about this game the atmosphere maybe and location that just makes it more interesting to play

Buy Fallout 3. Personally, I enjoyed the scenery and story much more in that one. Even though New Vegas has minor improvements such as the gun aiming and the craftable items, it will never overtake the immersion and feeling of Fallout 3.
