Mr Widemouth being in S and Sonic.exe in F are perfect

The best part about Sonic.exe is the author thinks they wrote one of the greatest pieces of fiction ever conceived

I live in Arizona its pretty accurate to the story except the main character and his girlfriend would of burst into flames the minute they stepped out of their car also chasing people is how people say hello here.

The oddest things to me about the way Sonic.exe is written is
1) All of the completely out-of-place references the author uses, with how many times things like "The music sounded like X track from Y game but *creepy*" is said, and
2) How many overly specific measurements of time the author put in, like saying something happened for "7 seconds" specifically when it's highly unlikely that the protagonist would like actually count the seconds like that.
As a writer myself, hearing Sonic.exe read out loud always makes me cringe so hard, lol.

I always roll my eyes a little bit at sonic.exe.. I think it just reminds me too much of those hardcore sonic fans that are obsessed with fanfic. Written by a hardcore sonic fan who is also in love with creepypasta.. There's nothing wrong with that if you're in to it, but I start thinking of the meta, and it pulls me right out.

Also, I never really noticed just how many of these creepypastas bank on "scary smile".

I’m so glad so many people are talking about creepypastas more and more over the past few years. They were such an integral part of my love for horror and strange stories. Even if some of them weren’t very good.

Mr. Widemouth is a creepypasta that I think doesn't get as much as love as it should.

I really liked two of the animations that were done of the creepypasta.

This and Happy Sun Daycare are really good in terms of creepypasta writing.

Watching this video brought me back to a simpler time. A time where a ghost in a kids game and an 8 foot man in a tuxedo were scary. Reading/listening/watching creepypastas as a kid adds a factor into the stories as well. I believe that when we are younger, we are more inclined to the unknown and the abhorrent. Enjoying these at 19 feels so much different from listening to the stories in 6th grade as a 12 year old. Everything was so much more real, and it was honestly terrifying. Please do make more of these videos. I didn't think there was still a community behind these, it's cool to meet and see other kids who grew up with early internet horror

“The image showed an image” is one of the quotes of all time

All of these are precious to me (yes, even Sonic.EXE) but I am underselling it when I tell you Mr. Widemouth single-handedly defined my understanding of horror when I was younger.

I grew up on these creepypastas. Watching Hoodohoodlum and tatstopvideos in 6th grade. This video brought back memories, thank you for the content. Please make a 2nd one! Id genuinely pay for the next video. Growing up i knew the stories but never read them, having your video play in the background while i do mundane task brought me bliss that i havent felt in 7 or so years. Good shit brother

Wanted to give my opinion on some of the stories that stood out as good or bad.

The Ronald one had so much potential it's insane. I kind of wish someone would go back and rewrite it as a story that builds up on the creep factor. Like, the social worker could have been told instead that the kids went out when they were 18 they lived really good lives. The story could have built up over time with things getting creepier and creepier, like the receptionist starting out normal to make the social worker think this place was a regular home for foster kids who couldn't be placed, but it was actually a horror house. And the ending was just... Extremely confusing, what even happened. Narrator also needs a lot of work cause we keep being told he's a bad kid, but it doesn't feel like it at all.

Mr. Widemouth I can't believe how little attention it gets. Pacing is great, narrator feels like a real person, there is just enough creep factor to keep you hooked, and the ending actually has good payoff. I love having a realistic narrator whose smart and doesn't listen to these weird tasks. It makes it even better knowing at the end that other kids were not so lucky. I love the mystery of why Mr. Widemouth can tell kids to hurt themselves, but can't do it himself.

I wish I could love Abandoned By Disney, but that photonegative Mickey is just... So funny.

I love the story Arizona. I'm so glad you included it. I always felt this one was way underrated.

Man, I remember Ronald McDonald House. I was SO young when I found that, my first ever Creepypasta.

I was convinced it was real. Candle Cove gave me really bad nightmares after that.

I love your narration, you don't try to sound creepy or anything, your voice is just nice to listen to.
