Seventy-five years on from partition, people in India and Pakistan have reflected on the divisions and rivalries between the two nations.

When India gained independence from Britain in 1947, the territory was divided into India and the new state of Pakistan (with East Pakistan later becoming Bangladesh).

This created an upsurge of violence, in which approximately 15 million people were displaced and an estimated one million died.

Indeed, India is one of the fastest economy growing country. I also observed that Indian are steadily ruling out in Politics and businesses. Few remarkable Indians who are holding a high position in international level such as Kamala Harris (US Vice President), Rishi Sunak ( Candidate for next PM of UK), Sundar Pichai, (CEO Google), Benny Prasad (Fastest man to travelled around the World).

BBC needs history lessons:
1. Indian subcontinent was living in piece until British thugs arrived that looted and ruined the subcontinent.
2. India was not partitioned in 1947. Subcontinent was never a single nation. There were several independent states with their own rulers. Each state decided which country to join.
3. Shortly after independence corrupt rulers, and feudal families took over both India and Pakistan. They spread message of hate for their own vested interests, and promoted violence based on religion, sects, etc. They do things in both countries to raise enemosity between the two countries to keep people focused away from real issues. Politicians do that in the first world too.
