Jarnail Singh visited the place where his father was killed and later found out that the hospital where he was born was in the eight-eighth of Chichewatani and also found the people who take care Jarnail,s mother for two months

I am a Pakistani! I have a lump in my throat right now as I feel so close to crying for the family yet I feel thankful that Sardar ji was finally able to see the last living place of his father. There must be hundreds of thousands of families who had to go through unimaginable tragedies to go to different places on both sides of the border drawn by a white man who had come to India from Britain only a few weeks prior and had absolutely no idea about India’s demographic. My late grandma used to tell her stories about her fathers “Munshi Mr Bela Singh whose family and many other Hindus and Sikhs lived together in harmony and she would cry thinking about partition until her final days, where has this hate brought us? I would just like to conclude by thanking sardar ji and his wife for having the courage to come see those place regardless of the stereotypes around Pakistan. Love & peace
