This makes me happy that I don't live on campus. When she mentioned that other people will stay in your room for hours.. I was just like "No no no no no no!!!" I can't handle that much socializing. I'm glad that I will live at home in my own room. Ugh.. I also hate people being in my space. Honestly, I don't even think I would enjoy having a room mate. blech

Not that I'm disagreeing with Sab, I just feel like a good disclaimer to have is that every college or university is different especially when it comes to geographical location. I mean, I live in Canada and go to a university located here as well and quite a few of these tips applied loosely. Not that i'm trying to hate on or say Sabrina was wrong! Because I'm sure she's right! Just that it's different for every school. :)

I use RMP all the time, and a couple times my professors didn't even have a profile on there. At first this scared me away from taking the class, but I decided to just take a chance (my school has a withdraw without penalty date a couple weeks into the semester if things aren't working out) and those profs ended up being some of the best I ever had! So just an add-on tip, I guess. Don't let the absence of ratings on RMP hold you back from taking a class because you might end up  being pleasantly surprised!!

Last semester, I had classes from 7:30am until 7pm. Now, my earliest class is 9am and latest class ends at 6:15pm. (Of course with an hour break between).
