Excellent video! He spoke briefly, succinctly and with solid facts rather than emotion and sentiment. And about books he is right. I consider that only desperate countries impose import duties on books. Although books have figured in the Import Duty list for many years by orders of successive Governments the import duties on books has never been levied. How will imposing such duty help domestic printing and publication? Technology is rapidly evolving and knowledge of this developing technology is gained through publications and books from abroad. How can domestic publishers replicate these books without taking copyright permissions and shelling out royalties? What may happen is that there may emerge a thriving black market on pirated books! What a clueless Government we have elected to power. Tomorrow they may impose tax on clean air!
