There is no standardized dose. But From the studies, an amount of 1,000 mg Lion's Mane at 96% purity extract, up to 3x a day was used to get some of these benefits. Keep in mind though, that the potency differs in the preparation and source of mushroom.

Best lions mane supplement. What to look for when buying lions mane?

You got a lot of options out there. You can go ahead and buy the mushroom from the grocery store and use it to prepare in the kitchen or go the supplement route. You got the fruiting body ones or the mycellium versions. There is an argument that the beneficial bioactive compounds are found in both the mycellium and the fruiting bodies, but in higher concentrations in the fruiting bodies. So go with the fruiting bodies if you want the maximum results. Also go with a product that is at least usp, nsf, or at the very least manufactured in a gmp facility.

Adverse effects of lions mane. Lion's mane side effects.

I didn’t value the effects of Lion’s Mane until after I stopped taking them. I started forgetting things and found myself overthinking the littlest things. When I started taking them again, I just felt very calm and aware.

I've been on it for about three weeks 500mg once a day, positive effects on focus and sleep But gastric discomfort appeared by third week, facing issues like bloating and flatulence but gastric issues subside on stopping the dose, so use it on and off depending on your response.

My neurologist suggested I go on lions main. I already eat them in the fall when I could find them in the woods, so I love them and his suggestion made me happy. I have been taking a supplement now for 20 days. The nephropathy I had in my legs has gotten better and I am down right happy again. Haven't seen a brain memory improvement yet, but I haven't been on it that long. May start growing my own.

My 4th burnout lasted only hours thanks to the Lion's Mane. I took the first 500mg capsule the night before I woke up in the morning recognizing the familiar sensation of having burnout. Took the 2nd 500mg the same morning wishing it might shorten a day or two the sick leave which has prior taken weeks at least. The same afternoon I noticed the burnout was gone. I'm highly sensitive (hsp) and it probably explains the pace of the affect.
I've taken it daily ever since without any side effects.

I'm a brain cancer patient, glioblastoma. I want to repair some of the damage caused by radiation treatment but I'm concerned that the neuro-regetative effects could stimulate cancer cell growth

I started to take lions mane 2 months a go. My anxiety and depression got worse. Hardly I could get up from my bed and couldn't go to work for a month. Unfortunately didn't work to me infact made me worse. I stopped taking it 2 days a go I feel much better. I felt like it was a black cloud on top up me all the time and even thought of suicide. It was so scary but I thought it might be side effect for a short period but I got worse.
I heard so much benefits of lians mane but my opinion and experience I think lions mane is not for everyone.

Thank you for the info I am plant base and have been for 18 years I was just kicking around today just doing general things in the house, and I thought came into my mind. Why haven’t I incorporated lions main into my lifestyle and the answer was because I did not like the way it looked but after doing some reserved reading, and watching your video as well as others on YouTube, and finding out the benefits of lions mane I will definitely be adding lions main to my diet once a week along with all the other mushrooms that I eat to supplement for me so thank you so much I look forward to your next post. I thank you for your clarity and then your explanation. Thank you so much continue to do good.

Erinacines are predominantly found in the mycelium not the fruit body. Hericinones are concentrated in the fruit body.

At 64, I am having a HUGE problem with short-term memory. It's like I'm someone I don't recognize and it seems I can't go 1/2 hour without forgetting something. It increases the time spent on everything I do tenfold because I am constantly misplacing something and spending more time looking for it than I actually spend on the project I'm working on. I can't leave the house without forgetting something I need to bring EVERY...SINGLE...TIME. And I'm constantly sabotaging myself by screwing up everything I do. An example would be like sitting on the toilet looking at the phone, wiping my ass and putting the paper in my pocket, and throwing the phone in the toilet. Or I'm changing the hinges on a door and notice I put them on backward. That's not so bad. But taking them off the door and putting them on backward two more times IS bad. In baseball that would be a strikeout. It sounds funny, but it's not if you continue to make similar mistakes ALL DAY LONG. So I'm taking methylene blue and am starting on lion's mane and I'm hoping desperately that it's going to help.
