Matt,
I've gotten to the point where I take one more club and hit it 3/4 swing with tempo and comfort instead of hitting every club at max effort. Easier on the body and more confidence that I'll make better contact. You get 13 clubs. use them wisely.

The timing of this vid could not have been more perfect. Yesterday, I searched for your other “100 yard shot” video as a refresher (weekend round was a struggle from 90 - 110 in). Really wish I had a home setup as you do to experiment with club speed, ball position, shaft lean, club face (little open or closed depending on stopping it or rolling it to the back), and swing path for fine tuning. While on course situations (up/down hill lie, ball above/below stance, wet, dry, etc) vary, having that confidence while standing over the ball would drastically improve.

Thank you for these vids and especially taking another look at the “100 yard shot”. Take care!!!

I like the slogan on your golf shirt. Golf is a hard game, good for health and its fun. It looks easy but its not. Its good to get a few bloopers every now and then but its important to compete with yourself & have fun with others

On a day that I knew I didn't have my stuff I used a 7 iron to a green that was below the tee box a 100 yards away. And there is a par 5 that I'm always finding myself behind a row of trees at about 125 yds and typically use my 4 iron to keep the ball low & below the branches and I'm always coming up yards short. And I've seen others using their driver to keep the ball low from about 100 yards.
I'm glad you've pointed out that I have 14 clubs to help me accomplish all of my shots. I'm a 19 handicapper this video appeared to be talking to us. Thanks for making me feel comfortable in my own skin.

WOW! I finally get to watch your current video MSG 😃. As for me, i only have and use 52 degree SW, PW, or 9 iron depending on the conditions at the time of the shot and i am more of a feel guy then club or arm position. I normally check my carry distance on the machine on those 3 clubs before the start of each season to make sure i have an idea on each club. Then I would adjust the club according to the conditions i pick for that shot. So far, this has been working out for me for the past 5 years. Thank you for your energy in making the videos 👍👍👍👏👏

I love it, "I hit every club 100 yards!" I love this guy....I tried this and it really works, especially in terms of accuracy and mentally embracing the shot.

You’re reading my mind Matt! I’ve lately just gone for reasonable middle of green shots from 100 using a few different clubs n lofts. Putting is my strength and when I can get on and focus on putting... my scores have gone down. Thanks for the lesson!

Your videos have inspired my game considerably and I have gotten significantly better with my swing as well as consistency! I have also adopted this for a 50 yard baby shot

You mentioned people thinking of a "clock" or how you specifically just think of vertical club positioning.

I always think back to the Tiger Woods video games, and the "% of swing meter". At 100 yards out, I can pull back my hands a full 100% for SW, or 85% back for 54°, or 70% back for 50°, etc. Not sure why it works, but thinking of that little pull-back circle on the Tiger Woods game always helps in my pre-shot routine, as well as during my shot.

Great video, I use my PW, 9, and 8 all the time depending on the shot for 100-110 yards, I feel I can really swing and hood the ball and trap it, using a half swing with my PW and get a ton more spin. Love it.

So cool you gave a shout out to the Hat Saver guys. I've never heard of them (but will check them out), and I'm sure your mention will help them out.

Hey Matt. Is your entire house painted with the black trim, baseboard, doors, and windows?

Looks awesome. Curious tho!

Great video. Could have used this today on #3 and 7. 13, 15, and 18 as well. Ok, all day long!! Seemed like every hole was a 100 yard approach shot because my driver, 3 wood, 5 wood and 4 iron was spot on off the tee watching your videos. Great job!!

Matt really Enjoy your lessons very easy to understand love your personality Also you keep them relatively short 10 to 12 minutes perfect Best online YouTube lessons I have ever watched keep up the good work PS1 question on 100 yd shot you refer to vertical swing up and on 80 yd lesson you referred to shallow and low hands I was a little confused on that I guess there are a million different shots in golf but I was wondering can you interchange those 2 types of swings with the 100 yd lesson and the 75 or 80 yd lesson ect.

Great video! My go to yardage is typically between 85 and 105, which could be one of 3 clubs depending on conditions. Also, I too live in North GA, and I use that hat spray. It works!! PGA Superstore sells it.
