Why We Still Haven't Cloned Humans — It's Not Just Ethics

We've technically been able to clone human beings for almost a decade. So, why haven't we? The answer has way more to do with science than morality. Not only is cloning inefficient and dangerous, there's just not a good enough reason to make a human this way. But making entire copies of people isn't the only way we can potentially use cloning to benefit humans.

I simply refuse to believe that nobody has ever tried to clone humans

I find it unlikely that absolutely nobody nowhere has dared to secretly do it.

Science is about "could we" not about "should we".

I remember when the news of Doly were everywhere. It felt like the most sci-fi thing for me, yet I was too little to understand how big it was for science!

When they don’t want you to know clones exist and have existed for awhile now, they release videos like this one. Interesting...

To be fair, it seems mostly about ethics with some extra steps. I could imagine some rich couple that lost their child cloning him or her out of despair to make look like "they brought" their son back", even though it's just a genetic clone. I mean, people do this with dogs and cats.

Lmao why the need to use complicated scientific method to make clones, just make hand signals and scream something in japanese and boom, perfect clones for disposal

They pretty much admitted they tried when they said most human clones died in miscarriage.

It's scary that people either have no clue that cloning is 100% real or, at the very least, actually believe that "we haven't cloned humans for ethical reasons." Like...yeah 🤦🏼‍♂️

Why'd this come as a result of searching up that line from Jurassic Park, "Yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they _could, _ that they didn't stop to think if they _should."_

There's not enough reasons to clone a human ?? C'mon, the possibility itself is anough reason to try it ..
