GIANT Sets Upper Body Workout with Dumbbells - CORE | EPIC III Day 48

A full upper body workout with giant sets to target the shoulders, chest, triceps, back, biceps and core! A few partial reps as always, but primarily compound movements with full range of movement and focus on started tempo of controlling the lowering portion!

The timer will be on for 30 seconds of work each exercise, with 4 exercises to make the giant set! We repeat each giant set 2 times!

We have 30 seconds rest in between each giant set!

The dumbbells I am using are 15kg each and 8kg each!

This was very intense from the first giant set!

This workout at points was misleading as the first set can feel ok! But come the 2nd set, then repeat it was very challenging to complete a giant set without pausing!

Take your time, no rush and push through those moments when you think you maybe can’t do it… you can!

I finished this one with a huge smile on my face, not only because it was an amazing workout, but because I never ever trained my arms as much as in the last 10 weeks and I have fallen in love with the way I feel afterwards 💪🏼 can't thank you enough for that Caroline 💕 you make me feel strong, even though outside my workout room my life is crazy right now!

Definitely one of my favorite arm workouts. Had to drop down a dumbbell size in the beginning for the second set of chest presses. And by the time I got to the Tate press and skull crushers, I was only able to get a few reps in. But when I got to the finisher I was wishing it wasn’t over yet! Last all arm focused workout of Epic III! Starting to get a little sad, but the great thing is these workouts will always be there to do again, and even if Caroline takes a much needed break from posting new workouts, we can always go back and start any Epic series again. And they will be just as tough and rewarding as the first time!

Love that bicep burn at the end, Caroline! Anyone else? I'm still feeling it in my legs from yesterday and I'm sure that later today, it'll be my arms. This week has been awesome. I just can't believe we only have 2 workouts left. Time flies when we are having fun! Have a wonderful rest day tomorrow everyone! See you all Friday!

GIANT UPPER BODY SETS?! I’m so so excited! If it’s anything like yesterdays low body GIANT sets, I know I’ll be feeling 💀🤪 (in the best way).
I’m just so addicted to this EPIC lll program & I’m so bummed about it coming to an end so soon. But I couldn’t be more grateful for your content- you’ve really helped me push past some comfort zones!!

Caroline, you’ve not only encouraged me to lift heavy & push myself but also to shop…your wardrobe & shoe collection is amazing!! Giant sets are always so challenging, keeping the muscles under constant work & tension….this one looks like it's gonna hurt so good. I'm sure this is gonna leave my upper body pumped & shaking, just like how yesterday left my legs pumped & shaking! Let’s go 🤍

After lower body giant sets we have upper body giant sets!! Loved the leg session yesterday. I am ready to test my upper body today with all sets being killer.. This week has been crazy intense!
EMOM: Quads burning
Push-ups: Front delts and triceps hurting
Lower body giant sets: Hamstrings crying
and now... upper body giant sets :)

I remember not all that long ago when I was challenged by 9 lb/4 kg lateral raises and now I can do 15lb/7kg lateral raises and I'm only getting stronger. Thanks for providing the programs that have helped me to keep progressing towards my fitness goals!

🔥 🔥 🔥!! That burned from start to finish! Very intense and enjoyable. I really liked the format and layout. Such a nice variety to celebrate our last upper body day! It was a struggleat time to hold on through that second set in the giant set..esp repeating the full set a second time! The shoulder press and Arnold press giant sets were my favorites today. That bicep portion was a KILLER!! What a little goodie!!🤗 the finisher was awesome as always. Idk about everyone else, but I'm on track to be sore all over by the end of the week!!😣😆 Thanks Caroline. We are wrapping up this final week in a truly Epic fashion! Love it! See you Friday for our final full body day! Can't wait!😁

Absolutely phenomenal. I threw in some rotator cuff exercises in place of the tate presses and skullcrushers to suit my body's needs for today. This workout structure was soo great. I love that these workouts are challenging and yet still flow beautifully even if you decide to modify one or two of the moves. Happy Wednesday, everybody! :)

Day 48 complete!! Feeling my best self. Thank you Caroline Girvan for these amazing workouts. Can’t believe im 2 days away from completing Epic 3. My body is so much stronger I can just feel it in these workouts. So proud of myself. I Can’t wait to start another program of yours and get even stronger!

Upper body giant sets! My fave! I remember an epic heat workout full of giant sets for arms and I loved it. No doubt I will also love this one. Still feeling the lower body giant sets of tuesday -love it! Thanks Caroline!!

I really love it when a workout is cut to the core and simple. I feel so strong after this one. I even managed 15lbs. on the lateral raises with no pain!!! The simplicity allows me to focus on the mind/muscle connection rather than trying to teach my body new tricks. Thank you for what you do Caroline!
