It's a terrible shame that Malik Ambar's story isn't taught in schools today, in India, Ethiopia and the west

I have heard about the Siddis in India and few of them that rose to power in India. Watching about Malik Amber make more proud to be an African.

11:57 "malik didn't needed a crown to rule"
Absolutely breathtaking sentence which proves that talent and dedication is more important than blood and colour.
Hatts off to the legendary general of my deccan "Malik ambar"

I am from the Oromia region of Ethiopia and I'm an Oromo but I was not aware of this amazing history. I really want to thank the K&G for this incredible video

Is no one gonna say anything about how K&Gs switch up the art dependant on the culture? This is a trend I noticed while contrasting their content related to Rome, Mongols, and the empires of the middle east. Like its something they could have kept the same but went the extra mile to depict the cultural aspects of each video and I have nothing but admiration and appreciation for their hard work.

The way Kasim treated his slave(Ambar) is better than most of modern day world leaders treated their citizens

He went from slave to King as if he was playing Mount and Blade

I live in Aurangabad. Also he built a flour mill for poor people and water channels around the whole city, at that time which are still in function.

I thought I know African history but this is a very amazing history that I did not hear from anyone. Kings and Generals is a fantastic history for Africans, it's been here long but it's funny that I discovered during this difficult time of COVID-19. I'm very curious about our African history. Thanks.

1000 times better than history channel which shows 'pawn stars' and 'storage war' as history.
You should have a show on television.

That’s really amazing to see various ethnicities had living in a same region.
Turks, Mongols, Persians, Arabs, Africans, Dravidians, Hindus and colonial Europeans...Wow

This should be documented well and should be part of "Indo-african" History as deep chapters of diversity of India..👍🏻...

This makes me very proud to be an Oromo. My people have a very rich and magnificent culture that gets no light. Happy to see us mentioned on my favorite channel on YouTube.
