Hospitality management is actually one of the best degrees you can get. Teaches you a lot of how business work and how to run multiple businesses at once. I did this and am currently running 5 liquor stores and own the land. Majority of other business degrees only teach you one side of business .

I am a COMM major and got accepted into bookkeeping/accounting role because I have experience in my previous role in that area 😅 Doesn’t matter what major. You need real life skills that can run a company kids, which you don’t learn in universities.

Communications gives you great job opportunities even in the public sector. Conference interpreters get passed over for communications.

Remember guys, your major is not your job. You could major in English and end up working in marketing; internships are the key!
