No matter what people think of the later seasons, you can’t deny that the cinematography and visuals have gotten better every time. S4 in particular has some amazing shots.

4:43 If you use Add, instead of Screen for your glows, you will get a more accurate result. Screen is useful for combining Alpha channels but since light is linear, you will want to use Add rather than Screen 99% of the time when you are working in the RGB channels. Add for RGB, Screen for Alpha is the rule, but by all means, use what works best for your specific shot!

Would love to see a "Wednesday" episode. Like how to do "Thing" or even the Hyde monster. Let's be honest, we really want to see Josh do the dance that Wednesday does at the Rave'n.

I also do stranger things when color grading, but in a completely different context.

Almost two million subs!! let go!! If you're looking for a challenge, re-creating a large scale battle with CGI would be cool to see! Like the battle of waterloo from the TV series Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell.

6:38 "Since, as you can see, there's too much yellow here." No. I don't see it. And this is why I'm not a colorist. I CAN see that it doesn't quite match the Stranger Things grade, but understanding HOW is a whole other field of expertise, in my opinion.

But but I thought _everything_ had to have its colour saturation cranked up to insane levels to the point every colour (mostly reds and blues) looked absolutely unnatural or failing that, every colour had to look like it was done with pastels, by the same colour correction folks who work for HGTV.

Are you telling us that it's _possible_ to make films and TV shows where the colours AREN'T hyper saturated to give them an artificial look?

Wait, it's.... it's coming back to me. Yes, yes I can see it now! My memory's starting to come back. It's showing me that there once was a time before 2010 where TV shows and movies didn't have oversaturated colours!

For more accurate exposure changes, use Gain in Linear gamma, which you can set per-node in the context menu.

I want to see more color grading in davinci resolve. This is a great video for me as a young hobby-filmmaker.

I totally used colorspace transform as the first node of a group node prior to the clip node, and now I wonder if I did it wrong all along.
