Can I admit — this is the most useful, real practical advice for film color grading I found on YouTube.

And no super complicated node trees like some other YouTube Colorists teach, just some curves and qualifiers, very straight to the Point.

Industry knowledge and experience is one thing, but being able to teach so professionally in front of a camera is another. Great work!

I gotta give you props brother. I thought I wasn’t going to like this video because there wasn’t any node trees, but you made me see that I’d been working harder not smarter.

I've been doing photo editing for quite a while now and I must say that I at least already do 4 out of these 7 steps. Still, it's really nice to know that some things apply to video editing as well. Great video!

Thank you so much for putting Final Cut Pro and Adobe premiere pro in this! I use the former the most but the latter for school. Thanks!

Definitely one of the more competent tutorials on YouTube, really good information and no-BS solutions. Good idea to show the corresponding parameters in Premiere and Resolve back to back as well!

Very good tutorial! I Would love a follow-up to how you handle footage taken with consumer grade action cameras, such as GoPro and Mavic drones. The qualifiers on 8-bit footage do not behave as nicely as what you posted, or I may be just pushing too hard, and expecting too much from that type of cameras?
