I rlly appreciate that brad gave credit to the people who actually started this instead of someone who made it trendy

My Aunt started living off the grid several years ago. She was entering menopause and her stress level was over the top so decided to give it all up and leave the stress of society. She moved to the foot of the mountain, collects rainwater in barrels, and grows her own food. I swear, the time has gone backward for her. She looks 20 years younger, Her thin hair is now thick, full, and down to her waist. She uses only rainwater to bathe and cook. Her set up is a thingamajig to catch rainwater and run it through charcoal filters to purify it for drinking water. No stress, clean purified water, and a vegetarian lifestyle has changed her life. I'm convinced stress and bad food make a difference. She lives like these women, uses natural resources, and lives as stress-free in nature as possible.

Also if rice water doesn't give us that result we were expecting, we should also consider their environment and diet. I don't think they eat processed or hormonal treated food. They spend a lot of time in nature as well and don't have the same kind of stress we have. That has a big impact.

The Yao women’s hair look and grow like that because of genetics and I think we always forget that genetics is a thing in hair discussion.

The recipe for the Yao tribe is actually “washing glutinous rice, collect the water, boil it with pomelo or tangerine peels with tea oil or herbs until the mixture is a really cloudy white colour, ferment for 1 week”. Some people say glutinous rice is the key.

You should do a series covering different hair care from around the world. Like the Himba people in Africa who use red clay to cover their hair.
