Hearing the child-like babbling in the first two clips of the "Death Tape" with Jim just completely disregarding their lives brings me to actually tears. Those poor babies.

This took place in my country, Guyana and we Guyanese remember it as the 'Jim Jones Massacre' because he literally mass poisoned hundreds of people with Kool aid and shot those who tried to escape after seeing other victims collapse from consuming the liquid. Showed no mercy upon children either.

I made the mistake of watching a documentary where a father talked about trying to save his kids while his wife helped poison them. And then they played the audio from it all. Listening to the children crying and then, worse, the silence after. Absolutely chilling.

I remember when I was in Bible class (christian school) and my Bible teacher told us we'd be doing something a little different. He told us that he wanted to make us aware of a cult so we could see the effects of manipulation tactics and how to look out for it. He showed us an hour long deep dive into this cult the first day and then had us do research and fill out worksheets on it the next day. It was the weirdest two days of Bible class I've ever been through...

After watching this I went and listened to the 44 min "death speech" of Jim Jones omg the children screaming and crying I can't believe it and when people spoke up about it they were shot down and told that their only way out was to drink the medicine.
I'm with you I hope Jim Jones is being given that same "medicine" and dieing over and over again.

I have listened to the entire recording and I honestly do not recommend it. It is very hard to comprehend the fact that it is real. That those are voices of people who were forced to poison themselves and their children or be shot. It is genuinely heartbreaking.
