I live in England, born and raised.
Over the road from in is an old Persian lady (she gets very angry if anyone calls her Iranian) who came to England as a refugee in 1980. I was born in 1981, so she has been here longer than I have.
She is Zoroastrian. This is the religion of her ancestors.
In 1979, when what she called 'The Travesty' happened, her entire family were forced to convert. Her father was 'disappeared'. She never laid eyes on him again.

When things started kicking off her last week she started knocking on everyone's door to ask us to go to her house for tea and biscuits.

In her house that day were Atheists (me), white and black Christians, Sikhs, and Hindus. And her, a Zoroastrian.

She was so scared! She was crying. She warned us what is happening in England is a smaller scale version of what happened in Iran. She thinks it is on a smaller scale because 'the convertors' (I have to be careful wigh wording her, I apologise) do not have the numbers required to make their move yet. This is a precursor, according to her. A kind of test.

Looking at the last 40+ years in Britain, I can't say that I disagree.
British police officers are already releasing videos with 'their' greeting and farewell. These videos look like a trial or hostage video. And this is happening to the police or they volutarily participate in it!

My country disgusts me today. There is no spine. The government hate and punish its own people while protecting vile criminal acts. But I will not leave. This is my heritage. I am, however, considering sending my wife and children to somewhere safe. I'm not sure what else I can do other than resist with my brain, sweat, and sanguis, if necessary. I don't want to, but a man can only be pushed so far before he is forced to take action. If we aren't there yet, we will be soon.

Stay safe everyone. Especially those who left this dangerous belief. They won't leave you alone either.

I'm an Exmuslim from Iran. My mom's side has been very religious (my dad passedaway when I was a child), and I have been seriously practicing Islam during my late high school for 4 years. I remember reading the Quran feeling very bad as a woman. I found lots of the verses very offensive that you have been discussing in your channel. I've been questioning it until around 2018 and my mom kept blaming me and calling me Satan because in Islam he refused to bow down to Adam when he was created because he was made of fire and thought he was superior. She kept telling me you have high pride, not accepting that men are superior to women. Although my problem was not only concerning women's right but it was a big part of it. She created a huge guilt inside me that I have been suffering from for years. But thanks to the internet, I understood that I'm not alone and became confident throughout the years .

In 2018, I left Islam officially, but I still felt like muslims should be respected as the freedom of speech. But after Mahsa Amini, I got sure that this religion is nothing but a cancer. Although it has some good aspects, the bad ones are much more and although most muslims are much better than the religion. The Mullahs rulling the country will always run Sharia's laws, which caused killing so many people and so much injustice.

In the end, I want to ask foreigners not to treat and judge people based on their nationality. People are not in charge of what their governments do, and most of them are, in fact, the first victim of it.
