If you have the L Train disc, this video isn't a complete guide because it has a different internal gear hub than the L Train v brake. For the instructions on how to engage/disengage the hub, the video of removing the rear wheel to the Apollo gravel bike is more accurate since it also uses an Alfine hub.

Beautiful bike, thank you for sharing! Belt is still so new to most

After watching this video I had the necessary confidence to shorten the shifting cable. The design is really quite ingenious, but if I ever had to go inside that hub.... I would simply buy a new one, perhaps an 12 speed. Is that a practical upgrade to the L-Train?

What gear should you be in before removing the nexus hub cable?

What exactly are “these guys?”

I don’t see me flipping my bike upside down to fix a flat when out on the road.

I made need to watch this 100 more times with my bike and a beer before I fully understand what he’s saying.

I believe belt drive makes it easier to fix a flat tire than chain drive.

Will these steps work for the Apollo too?
