I love the backhand drive for its punch and precision as a shot. I find it so much easier to moderate the hitting action and direction on the backhand side vs the forehand side. A devastating combination, for me, is to condition opponents with a couple of fast, flat drives then mix in a disguised soft block that drops the shuttle far shorter into the court hopefully causing my opponents to scramble forward and offering a weaker, short lift back to me.
